Lucía Cores Sarría

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the PIMlab and part of the YUFE4Postdocs program, co-funded by Horizon Europe’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie program and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. I hold a joint Ph.D. in Media and Cognitive Science from Indiana University – Bloomington. My research explores the interplay between media and users’ perception, cognition, and emotion. Currently, I am investigating how emotions drive news consumption and news avoidance in digital contexts. My work employs a range of empirical methods, from psychophysiological experiments to computational analyses of digital behavioral data.
